Some upcoming events
Audiobooks, A Boy and His Dog, Shirley Jackson Day, and a Reading
Hi All!
I wanted to let everyone know about four events coming up that might be of interest.
This Sunday, 1/18, at 1 p.m.
This one’s only open to MWA members, but hey, if that’s you - please join us! I’ll be talking about using Amazon’s ACX to create your own indie audiobooks, but Richard and Jessica are the real pros here and I expect to learn a lot from them!
This Sunday, 1/18, at 5 p.m.
I’ll be returning live to The Ghost Show to talk about the 1975 movie A Boy and His Dog, as well as the Harlan Ellison novelette it’s based on. We always have a great time on these Ghost Show chats, so swing by and join the fun!
On Saturday, 1/31, at 7 P.M. (EST)
Okay, I won’t actually be attending this event (which will happen at Copper Dog Books in Beverly, MA), but since I’m the current President of the Shirley Jackson Awards Board of Directors, I figure I should promote it! Besides, it looks fantastic.
On Friday, February 6th at 9 A.M. (PST)
I’ll be doing a short reading from Spine Tinglers as part of this fantastic group. Attendance is open to all and free.
Thanks, and hope to see you at one or more of these events.
