Yes, I’m lookin’ at YOU, Target. In the past, Target’s “Hyde and Seek” brand has produced some of my favorite Halloween kitsch, but this year…well, here we are in mid-September and my local Target stores have nothing but candy and some pet stuff. I mean, not that I’m objecting to “Tasty Human” cat treats and little Dracula/Frankenstein catnip mousies, but I do wonder what their thinking is in waiting so late to introduce the costumes, decorations, and collectibles, especially when most other big box retailers have had the stuff out for weeks already.
