I have two books called The Complete Works of Lewis Carroll (one illustrated, the other not), so I read Phantasmagoria decades ago. It's hilarious!

That's a very interesting piece on AI. I don't know how nervous is the right amount of nervous for me, ha! My hope is that publishers and editors stick with their "no AI" policies, but I suspect there will be a scandal before long.

And I happen to have The Abyss in my DVR queue, having never seen it before.

You worked on The Abyss? A while back I was working on a booklet for a bluray release (NC-lensed Death Screams) and had to do a lot of research about Earl Owensby. He and James Cameron were in the news a lot during production, and at one point Cameron took out a restraining order against Owensby -- barring him from his own production facilities!

I loved the updates on your writing, career and especially the vintage postcards. That's something you don't see too often anymore either. Getting a taste of Halloween from your newsletter is always a delight since it is my favorite holiday!
